Manufacturing Associate – Print & Direct Mail

Pay: At minimum $19.00 per hour based on job/shift/experience and skills

Supports daily operations in a fast-paced print and direct mail production environment. This position is responsible for performing production, machine operation, material handling, quality control, and/or specialized manufacturing duties to ensure customer jobs are completed accurately, safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Team members may work in multiple areas of the facility, including Digital Print, Mail Finishing, Bindery Department, Inserting Department, Material Handling (Lettershop), Equipment Maintenance, Quality Control based on talents, experience and business needs. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate and support production equipment used in printing, finishing, inserting, mailing, and related manufacturing processes.
  • Set up, load, and monitor equipment and materials according to job specifications, work instructions, and production schedules.
  • Perform quality checks throughout production to ensure finished products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve basic production or equipment issues, escalating concerns when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation, including job information, material counts, completed quantities, and waste.
  • Work safely and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment while supporting productivity, quality, and on-time completion of customer jobs.
What we look for
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience.
  • Experience in printing, direct mail, machine operation, or production experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality or production errors.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and job specifications.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability preferred.
  • Dependable attendance and ability to report to work as scheduled.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Work Environment: Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility

Physical Demands:

  • Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
  • Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment

Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
